What's New @ K.A.A.P:

I'm re-drawing my Arrow profiles. As they stand they look pretty crappy. They will be done in a larger scale (1100px wide). I will also offer a much larger scale (1417px wide) for those who want.

Also, I will be adding more links to the Navigation bar (on the left). I like the style I did for my Jetliner page, so I will be modifying this site to look more like that one.

You patience will be rewarded!

About Us:

Welcome to Karl Mesojednik's Avro Arrow Dedication Page (nee Karl's Avro Arrow Page). This website, and its contents exists to showcase my computer-generated profile's of the Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow. You will also find speculation and specifications of that the Arrow has and could have accomplished. Some skeptics of the CF-105 project are adamant that the Avro Arrow was not what it appreared to be (the CBC movie The Arrow clearly shows in a few scenes.).  You will also find historic images of the CF-105 that were taken from public archives, as well as off the internet.

This website is the new and improved v.5 of the original site that was first published in 2002.  Looking back at v.1 I can't help but shake my head at how it was presented, and as mentioned above, I recently switched hosting company's, and I'm trying to conform with how they do things, so my profiles links won't work unless you remove the 'www.' at the beginning of each image link.

I'm also (when time allows) in the process of re-drawing my profiles. Some profiles just don't look right... feathering and textures were not done to my satisfaction, and some of the conjecture schemes are just too conjecture for my sense of reality!  One of the questions I ask myself (and maybe a few people out there as well) is 'What would the CF-105 look like had Avro Canada continues to exist?'   From this question, I hashed together three possibilities of where the designers may have gone.  I chopped pieces of other aircraft and modified them to fit in the all-around look of the MK. I & II... calling it the Arrow II, or CF-106.

My other two Avro-related websites (Canuck and Jetliner) are both undergoing extreme makeovers to conform with this layout.

Featured Profile:

This scheme depicts 414 EW Sqn. 'Electric Arrow'. This amazingly painted black CB-105 (Strike Bomber version), has an Electronic Warfare pod. The standard weapons housed in the weapons bay are replaced with EW equipment.  With only 5 of these aircraft ever in use with 414 EW Sqn., the Electric Arrow was used to test NORADs early warning stations in both Canada and the U.S. and as a 'target' in simulated missile attacks portraying the 'enemy'.
